Who we are
This policy covers Intrepid Fitness , referred to as "we" or "us". We take your privacy seriously and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you fill in our contact form, enquire about training, or join the gym, we collect what we need to help you: your name, phone number, email, and anything you choose to tell us about your goals, your fitness, or any injuries or health conditions we should know about.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, book you into classes or your free trial week, manage your membership, and check in on how your training is going. We do not sell your information, and we will not add you to marketing lists you didn't ask to be on.
Website analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it: things like which pages get read and roughly where visitors come from. This data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Who we share it with
Only who's needed to run the gym, such as the software we use to manage bookings and our accounts. We ask anyone we share information with to look after it properly. We'll only hand over information if the law requires it.
Storage and security
Your information is stored in reputable, access-controlled systems. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires (tax records), then delete it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email daniel@intrepid13.com or call 0402 318 035. If you're not happy with how we handle a privacy complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
